The TB-05 chassis features shaft drive 4WD with excellent drive efficiency and a symmetrical structure, making it ideal for racing participation in the Tamiya Challenge Cup. Although the TB-05 has two motor mounting positions to choose from (front and rear), the R dares to specialize in the front motor and features a specially designed carbon-reinforced chassis and motor mounts. The rigid chassis and adjustable TRF 420 suspension with TRF Super Short Big Bore Damper Plus increase cornering speed even further. In addition, the motor plate has been moved back 3mm to optimize the weight balance. The quick response of shaft-driven 4WD is maintained, while drivability is improved. In addition, various optional parts essential for racing have been added.
