Low-cost speed controller for small motors
MD-1 is an ESC (Electric Speed Controller) exclusively for small motors. It is compatible with brushed motors up to size 370. Compact and lightweight, the MD-1 has a flat design for easy installation in RC car kits and construction sets, and can be easily fixed with commercially available double-sided tape.

RC Car ESC Specification” suitable for RC car operation
The MD-1 is available in two types: one with a brake and back (RC Car ESC), which is the same as the standard ESC for R/C cars, and one with a neutral brake (Neutral Brake), which is suitable for robots and craft sets.

The RC Car ESC version operates in the same way as a standard ESC. The brake is applied when the throttle (gas pedal) of the radio (transmitter) is pressed in the reverse direction while the car is moving forward, and the brake is applied when the car is returned to neutral (in the center of the center of the car) and then pressed again in the reverse direction.

For use with RC cars...

Can also be used to control LEDs and buzzers
The MD-1 can also be used as a driver for LEDs and buzzers; by removing the protective transparent tube of the MD-1, the wiring can be replaced. The pattern is large enough to make it easy when wiring with a soldering iron, but if you are not confident, please work on the wiring under the supervision of someone with experience in electronics work.

Caution when using lithium batteries
 
Since MD-1 operates over a wide voltage range of 3 to 6.6v, it is not equipped with a protection circuit such as LiPo cut. when using lithium batteries such as LiPO or LiFe, please be careful of voltage drop due to motor load. We recommend that you determine the performance and number of motors to be used in advance.
